OUR STORY

A U.S. registered 501(C)(3)  nonprofit, founded by a mother and son who have been intimately involved with Uganda since 1997. Penny Randell (mother) and Peyton Thomas (son) have dedicated their lives to helping Uganda. Together they established Speakers for Africa to provide tools needed to improve the lives of Ugandan students.
They believe every student is capable of greatness, and with a little assistance, can utilize their own resources and flourish in their communities. We believe with the right tools, they can develop a more successful and sustainable future.

OUR PROMISE

It is our solemn promise to maximize every dollar donated to help as many as possible. We promise to work hard and show our every expenditure with real time updates and personalized progress reports. We have little to no overhead and use our own money for travel. So every cent donated goes directly to the people. We don't have fancy Landrovers or live in deluxe houses. We owe it to our donors and the people of Uganda to make sure they get every bit of what was donated.

OUR STRATEGY

We use real time information through multiple social media platforms to show donors where their money is being spent. This fosters better accountability and transparency as well as provides educational and cultural understanding.
We strongly encourage donors to participate and engage with who they are helping. Blindly sending money to Africa hurts more than it helps. So we don't send a picture of a child, we connect you
